How to find a working Stake mirror
When the usual Stake address will not load, a working Stake mirror gets you back into the same account in under a minute. Here is the method, step by step.
Get back in without waiting
If stake.com or your bookmarked address times out, you do not need to wait for it to come back. To find a working Stake mirror, open a maintained list, choose the fastest address that answers from your connection, check it is genuine and log in as normal. Your account, balance and history are the same on every real mirror.
The live list below is tested from your own browser each time the page loads, so what you see reflects your network right now.

The method, step by step
- Open the mirror list. Use the list above or the main mirror links page. Bookmark the list itself, not individual domains, because single addresses change. Our article on why Stake mirror domains change explains the reasons.
- Let the test finish. Each link shows a response time once your browser has heard back from it. Give it a couple of seconds; slower mirrors fill in last.
- Pick the fastest green link. The lowest number is usually the best choice. The mirror highlighted at the top is chosen automatically from your current results.
- Check the address bar. Before typing anything, confirm the domain matches the one you clicked, that the address begins with https and that the padlock shows a valid certificate.
- Log in with your usual details. Use your existing username or email, password and two-factor code. Do not create a new account.
- Confirm your account looks right. Your balance, recent bets and VIP progress should appear exactly as before. If anything looks different, log out and try another mirror from the list.
The whole process normally takes less than a minute.
Reading the ms numbers and colours
The number beside each mirror is a round-trip time in milliseconds (ms): how long it took for your browser to send a small request to that domain and receive a reply. It is measured on your device, so it includes your Wi-Fi or mobile signal, your provider's routing and the distance to the server.
| Colour | Typical reading | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Green | Low (roughly under a few hundred ms) | Responsive from your connection. Good for live betting and fast games. |
| Amber | Higher | Reachable but slower. Fine for browsing and deposits; may lag on live odds. |
| Red / offline | No reply | Blocked on your network, overloaded or retired. Skip it. |
A few points worth knowing:
- Numbers move. Re-run the check by refreshing the page. A mirror that was 90 ms a minute ago can be 300 ms during a busy match.
- First load is slower. The very first request to a domain includes DNS lookup and a secure handshake. A second refresh is often quicker and closer to what you will experience while playing.
- Lower is better, but small gaps do not matter. The difference between 70 ms and 110 ms is invisible when spinning a slot or playing Stake Dice. It matters more for in-play betting, where odds can move before your bet is accepted.
- Your network matters as much as the mirror. If every mirror shows amber, the bottleneck is likely your connection, not Stake.
Verifying a mirror is genuine
Speed is useless if the site is a fake. Phishing clones copy Stake's design closely, so rely on checks a copy cannot fake.
HTTPS and a valid certificate
The address must start with https and show a padlock without warnings. Click the padlock and check the certificate is valid for the exact domain you are on. Any browser warning about the certificate is a reason to leave immediately.
The exact host
Read the domain carefully from the start of the address to the first single slash. Look for swapped or extra letters, digits in place of letters, hyphens and unfamiliar endings. Compare it character by character with the domain on our list. A password manager helps here: if it does not offer to fill your Stake login, it does not recognise the domain.
The same login and the same account
A genuine mirror accepts your existing credentials and 2FA code and shows your real balance and history. Treat the following as red flags:
- A prompt to register, re-verify or "activate" the mirror.
- A request for a wallet seed phrase or private key.
- A demand to deposit before you can see your balance.
- A balance or bet history that does not match what you remember.
Where the link came from
Only use links from a source you trust. Unsolicited messages on Telegram, Discord, X or email offering a "new Stake link" are a common route to clones, as are paid search ads that briefly outrank real pages.
If a mirror will not load
When a mirror you picked fails to open, work through these in order:
- Try the next fastest green link. One domain being blocked does not mean the others are.
- Open a private window. This rules out a stale cache, a broken cookie or a browser extension interfering.
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies for the domain if the private window works but your normal window does not.
- Switch networks. Move from Wi-Fi to mobile data or the other way round. Work, school, hotel and café networks often filter gambling sites.
- Change your DNS resolver in your device or router settings to a public resolver if your provider's DNS returns errors for every domain.
- Restart the app or browser. Simple, but it fixes stuck connections more often than you would expect.
What to do if every mirror is down
If all mirrors show offline at the same time, the problem is usually not a block. Either Stake is having an outage or maintenance, or your own connection is failing.
- Check our is Stake down page, which shows a live status board for all addresses.
- Open any unrelated website to confirm your internet works.
- Wait a few minutes and refresh. Most incidents and planned maintenance windows are short.
- Check Stake's official social channels for maintenance notices, and avoid "support" accounts that message you first.
Your funds are held on your account, not on the mirror. An outage does not affect your balance, and open sports bets are settled on the event result as normal.
Stay safe while you play
Finding a mirror quickly should not mean dropping your guard.
- Turn on two-factor authentication so a leaked password is not enough to get in.
- Never use a VPN to hide your location. Stake's terms forbid it and accounts can be closed with balances withheld. Mirrors help when an address is blocked or slow on a network; they are not a way around a ban in a country where Stake does not accept players. Follow local law.
- Set limits before you start. Deposit limits, cool-off periods and self-exclusion are in your account settings; our responsible gambling page explains each one.
- Learn the cashier before you deposit. Our guides to depositing Bitcoin and depositing USDT cover networks, confirmations and the mistakes that lose funds.
FAQ
What is the fastest way to find a working Stake mirror?
Open a maintained mirror list, wait a second for the live response times, and click the lowest green number. Check the address bar, then log in with your usual details.
What does the ms number next to each mirror mean?
It is the time in milliseconds for your browser to send a small request to that domain and get a reply. Lower is faster. It is measured from your device, so it reflects your own network.
Do I need a new account to use a Stake mirror?
No. A genuine mirror is the same platform under a different address, so your existing login, balance and history all carry over. Any site asking you to register again is not Stake.
How do I know a Stake mirror is real and not a phishing site?
Confirm HTTPS with a valid certificate, read the exact domain against the one you clicked, and check that your normal login works and shows your real balance. Never enter a seed phrase or deposit to unlock a mirror.
Why do all mirrors show amber or slow?
When every mirror is slow, the bottleneck is usually your own connection or provider. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data or move closer to your router.
What if every Stake mirror is offline?
That usually means a Stake outage, scheduled maintenance or a problem with your internet. Check the is Stake down page, confirm other sites load, and try again in a few minutes.
Will my sports bets be affected if a mirror stops working?
No. Bets are stored on your account and settled on the event result, regardless of which address you used to place them. Log in through another mirror to see them.
Can I use a VPN if mirrors are blocked?
Stake's terms prohibit using a VPN to disguise your location, and doing so can lead to account closure. If Stake does not accept players from your country, mirrors and VPNs are not a legitimate route in.
