Stake VIP programme

Stake VIP is free and automatic: your level rises with the total you wager, not what you deposit. Here are the reported levels, what each unlocks, how rakeback works and when it is not worth chasing.

How the Stake VIP programme works

The Stake VIP programme is a loyalty scheme built into every account. There is nothing to buy and no form to fill in: every bet you place adds to your total wagered, and when the total crosses a threshold you move up a level. Deposits do not count. A player who deposits $100 and bets it back and forth many times can progress faster than one who deposits $1,000 and makes a few bets.

Progress is shown as a bar in the VIP section of your account, with the exact amount left to the next level. Levels are kept once reached; reports agree that Stake does not demote players for inactivity, though the size of recurring bonuses follows your recent activity.

The VIP programme works the same on any official mirror, since it is the same account. If the main address is blocked on your network, use a working address from our live mirror list.

Stake VIP levels and wager required

The table shows the levels and thresholds most widely reported by players and review sites. Stake does not publish a full official table, figures can change, and your progress bar is the only exact source.

LevelTotal wagered (widely reported)
Bronze$10,000
Silver$50,000
Gold$100,000
Platinum I$250,000
Platinum II$500,000
Platinum III$1,000,000
Platinum IV$2,500,000
Platinum V$5,000,000
Platinum VI$10,000,000
Diamond I – Vfrom about $25,000,000 to $500,000,000
Obsidianabout $1,000,000,000

Reports differ on the upper tiers. Some sources describe Obsidian as the top rank above Diamond, and the Diamond thresholds in particular are hard to confirm. Treat everything above Platinum as approximate.

Sports bets count more

Sportsbook wagers are widely reported to count more towards progress than casino wagers, commonly quoted as about three times the weight. On that basis Bronze would need about $3,333 in sports bets instead of $10,000 on the casino. Check your progress bar after a few sports bets to see the real rate on your account.

What each level unlocks

Exact amounts are not published and depend on your activity, but the structure is consistent across reports:

  • Bronze: rakeback switches on, plus a one-off level-up bonus. You also start receiving weekly and monthly bonuses based on recent play.
  • Silver and Gold: larger level-up bonuses and larger recurring bonuses.
  • Platinum I – III: reload bonuses begin (time-limited daily claims), and level-up bonuses grow.
  • Platinum IV and above: longer or renewable reloads and access to a dedicated VIP host.
  • Diamond and Obsidian: bespoke rewards set by the VIP team, such as tailored bonuses and event invitations.

Rakeback

Rakeback returns a share of the house edge on each bet. A common description is that you get back about 5% of the house edge. On a game with a 1% edge, a $100 bet carries an expected cost of $1, so rakeback returns about $0.05. Over large volumes this adds up, which is why rakeback matters to regular players. Rakeback is claimed from the VIP section whenever you like and is reported to have no wagering requirement. Reports also say it accrues on casino play, not sports bets.

Level-up bonuses

A one-off payment credited when you reach a new level. The amount grows with each level and is generally reported as a fraction of the amount you wagered to get there.

Weekly and monthly bonuses

Recurring bonuses sized on your recent play and your level, often delivered by email or through the VIP Telegram, and claimed in your account. If you stop playing, these shrink or stop.

Reload bonuses

From Platinum, Stake offers reloads: a small bonus you can claim at set intervals (often daily) for a limited period. Higher Platinum levels get longer reloads, and reports say Platinum IV and above can get them renewed.

How to level up

  1. Check your current level and the amount left to the next one in the VIP section.
  2. Remember that every bet counts once, win or lose. A $10 bet that wins and a $10 bet that loses both add $10.
  3. Sportsbook bets carry more weight per dollar than casino bets, according to widely reported figures.
  4. Claim rakeback and bonuses as they arrive; they do not raise your level but they lower your net cost.
  5. Keep one account. Splitting play across accounts breaks the terms and resets nothing in your favour.

There is no shortcut. Faster games such as Dice or Limbo generate wagering volume quickly, which is exactly why they can drain a balance quickly too.

VIP host

From the higher Platinum levels a personal VIP host is assigned. The host is your contact for bonuses, withdrawal questions, limits and special requests, usually through Telegram or email.

A host is a salesperson as well as a helper. If a host offers bonuses that push you to play more than you planned, decline. You can also ask your host to set deposit limits or a break on your account; they are required to help with that.

Is Stake VIP worth it?

For someone who plays regularly anyway, yes: rakeback and recurring bonuses lower the real cost of play, and they are free. For a casual player, the programme barely matters, and it should never change how much you bet. Compare the value against rivals in Stake vs Roobet or Stake vs Shuffle, and see our Stake bonus code guide for promotions open to every player.

Set a budget before you start and use Stake's deposit limits if you are tempted to play for the next level. Our responsible gambling guide explains how.

FAQ

How do I join Stake VIP?

You join automatically. Every account starts progressing from its first bet, and Bronze is widely reported to unlock at $10,000 wagered. There is no fee or application.

Do deposits count toward Stake VIP?

No. Only the amount you wager counts. Each bet adds its full stake to your total whether it wins or loses.

Can I lose my VIP level?

Reports agree that you keep a level once you reach it. Recurring bonuses such as weekly and monthly payments follow your recent activity, so they get smaller if you play less.

How much rakeback does Stake give?

Rakeback is commonly described as about 5% of the house edge on each bet. On a 1% edge game that is roughly 0.05% of the amount wagered. You can claim it from the VIP section at any time.

When do reload bonuses start?

Reloads are reported to start at Platinum level. They let you claim a bonus at set intervals for a limited period, with longer or renewable reloads at higher Platinum levels.

Do sports bets count more for VIP?

Widely reported figures say yes, about three times the weight of casino bets. Your progress bar is the best way to check the rate that applies to you.

What is the highest Stake VIP level?

Obsidian is reported as the top level, at around $1 billion wagered. Few players ever reach Platinum, let alone Diamond or Obsidian.

How do I get a Stake VIP host?

A host is assigned at the higher Platinum levels and above. Until then, live chat handles VIP questions. You can also ask your host or chat to set limits on your account.
