Stake vs BC.Game

Stake vs BC.Game compares a sportsbook-led crypto casino with one built around a long coin list and locked BCD rakeback. This guide sets the operators, games, VIP and payments side by side and says who each suits.

Stake vs BC.Game at a glance

Stake vs BC.Game is a comparison between two crypto casinos that each pair a large third-party slot library with their own provably fair games and a sportsbook. Stake launched in 2017 and is operated by Medium Rare N.V. of Curaçao, which holds Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/1451/0918. BC.Game also launched in 2017 and is run by Twocent Technology Limited of Belize under an Anjouan Gaming Authority licence. It was previously run from Curaçao, and a court there declared the former operating companies bankrupt in November 2024; BC.Game called the ruling erroneous and said it would appeal. BC.Game has its own mirror site, bcgamemirrors.com, which covers it in the same depth.

In short: Stake suits players who want a deep sportsbook, a long-established brand and a VIP ladder that is spelled out in the open. BC.Game appeals to those who want a very long coin list and are comfortable with rakeback paid as locked BCD. Neither is available in the United States or the United Kingdom, and both are for adults only, 18+ or older where local law requires.

Sportsbook

Sports are where Stake leads. Its sportsbook covers football, basketball, tennis, American football, cricket, ice hockey, MMA and boxing, and a deep esports section with Counter-Strike, Dota 2, League of Legends and Valorant. Pre-match and live betting both run on one balance with the casino, with bet builders on many football and basketball matches, cash-out on many markets and a choice of odds formats. Our Stake sportsbook guide goes through the markets.

BC.Game reports more than 60 sports, live betting with cash-out on many markets, esports such as CS2 and Dota 2, racing and MMA, on a shared wallet with the casino. Reported minimum bet is $0.20 with decimal odds and Combo Boosts up to x1.5. It is a capable book, but sports are less of its focus than they are at Stake.

Originals and provably fair games

Stake Originals are the in-house games Stake builds itself: Dice, Crash, Limbo, Mines, Plinko, Keno, Wheel, Hilo and more. Each result can be checked after the round with the server seed, your client seed and the bet's nonce, and the published house edge is low, often around 1% on games like Dice. Start with the Stake Originals guide.

BC.Game's BC Originals include Crash with Classic and Trenball modes, Dice, Mines, Plinko, Limbo, Keno and HiLo, and sources report 74 in total, although older reviews counted fewer. Both sets are provably fair; neither is certified by a lab that we could find. A secondary guide reports 1% edge for BC.Game Crash and Classic Dice, with no per-game table for the rest, so read each game's panel.

Game library

Stake's casino lists thousands of games, mostly slots from studios such as Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Play'n GO, Push Gaming and Relax Gaming, plus Stake-exclusive titles made with studio partners. Many can be tried in demo mode, and the live casino streams real dealers from Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live, including game shows. See Stake slots and Stake live casino.

BC.Game reports a catalogue of roughly 8,000 to 10,000 titles from 50 to 70 or more providers, among them Evolution, Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, Hacksaw, Microgaming, NetEnt and Big Time Gaming, with live casino at around 45 tables and 37 game shows. Catalogue numbers change on both sides, so treat them as approximate.

VIP and rakeback

Stake's VIP programme is free and automatic, and your level follows total wagered rather than deposits. The widely reported ladder starts with Bronze at $10,000 wagered, where rakeback switches on with a level-up bonus, then climbs through Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Obsidian, with reloads and a dedicated host higher up. Stake does not publish a full official table and figures can change, so your progress bar is the exact source. Our Stake VIP guide has the detail.

BC.Game pays rakeback as locked BCD, released at wager x 1% x your VIP unlock rate, reported at about 20% at entry and 24% at the top. Level counts are inconsistent across sources, so we do not state one. The two systems are hard to compare in raw percentages; compare the figures in your own accounts.

Payments and withdrawals

Stake is crypto-first, with a wallet per coin, around 20 coins supported and card purchases of crypto through partners in the cashier, depending on country. Crypto withdrawals are usually approved quickly, often within minutes, and network fees are shown before you confirm. A first or large withdrawal can trigger verification, so complete it early. See Stake fees and Stake withdrawal limits.

BC.Game charges no deposit fee, and a withdrawal costs the network fee, with fee-free withdrawals listed as a VIP perk. Reports say withdrawals usually take minutes after approval plus confirmations, with larger amounts up to about six hours and manual review sometimes days. The terms reportedly cap withdrawals at EUR 10,000 per month, falling to EUR 5,000 once balance exceeds ten times total deposits, and each deposit must be wagered once. Its coin list is the longer of the two.

Licence and trust

Stake's licence is a direct Curaçao Gaming Authority licence, which you can check by clicking the seal in Stake's footer or searching the CGA's public register. A Curaçao licence is real regulation but lighter than the UK Gambling Commission or the Malta Gaming Authority, so it is not strong consumer protection. Read the Stake review for the full picture.

BC.Game's Anjouan licence number is on the register, with the expiry shown inconsistently between sources, so check the register itself. It is a lighter regime than the old Curaçao one, and BC.Game has faced regulator action elsewhere: the Dutch regulator imposed a penalty order on its former operator in 2024, and Sweden issued a prohibition order against Twocent Technology Limited on 29 June 2026. Public ratings are weak, with Trustpilot's rating removed for guideline breaches and many one-star complaints about payments and support. The BC.Game review covers it in depth.

Availability

Stake excludes the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and further countries listed in its terms. BC.Game restricts the United States and United Kingdom too, and the list in its terms is longer and changes. In either case, using a VPN to get round a restriction breaks the terms and can lead to a closed account and withheld funds. Each brand has its own domains: this site lists Stake mirrors only, and mirrors help when a working address is blocked or slow on your network, not to get round a ban.

Is BC.Game licensed?

It holds an Anjouan Gaming Authority licence. Sources disagree on the expiry date, so check the register. It previously operated from Curaçao and withdrew that licence in December 2024.

Which has better rakeback?

Stake publishes a VIP ladder with rakeback from Bronze at $10,000 wagered, while BC.Game pays locked BCD released by wager x 1% x VIP rate. Compare your own account figures.

No, they are separate families of games with different titles and rules. Both are described as provably fair.

Can I use the same mirror for both?

No. Each brand has its own domains. This site lists Stake mirrors, and BC.Game hosts are on its own mirror site.

Can I play either from the US or UK?

No. Both restrict these countries, and a VPN used to get around that breaks the terms and can lead to a closed account.
