Stake Georgia
Georgia has one of the strictest gambling regimes in the region for its own citizens, and in June 2026 it added a new licence for sites that serve only foreigners. Here is what that means for anyone in Georgia looking at Stake.com, why it may not load, and how players usually fund an account.

Is Stake legal in Georgia?
Gambling in Georgia is governed by the Law on the Organisation of Lotteries, Gambling and Prize Games. Online casinos, slots and sports betting are legal, but only for operators holding a Georgian permit, which the Ministry of Finance and the Revenue Service administer. Stake is not licensed in Georgia, although its own terms do not list Georgia as a prohibited jurisdiction.
The big shift came with the reforms passed in December 2021 and phased in during 2022. Georgian citizens must now be 25 to gamble, on any product. People receiving social assistance, civil servants, anyone who self-excludes through the Revenue Service and anyone barred by a court at a family member's request are excluded altogether. Gambling advertising is banned outside sports sponsorship, and Georgian bank-issued cards cannot be used to pay gambling services registered abroad. Licensed operators also pay a tax on gross gaming revenue.
On 25 June 2026 Parliament adopted at third reading a new international licence: Georgian companies can run online casino, slots and betting sites that only foreign citizens and stateless persons may use, with Georgian citizens shut out. It does not change the rules for Georgians, and it does not make Stake a Georgian licensee.
The coverage we reviewed targets operators, advertisers and payment channels, not adults placing a bet. Even so, if you are a Georgian citizen under 25 or on the excluded lists, you should not be gambling anywhere. This is general information, not legal advice; follow Georgian law and Stake's terms.
Why Stake may not load in Georgia
We found no report of Georgian providers such as Magti, Silknet or Cellfie running a general block list against foreign gambling sites. When Stake.com fails to load in Georgia, the cause is usually ordinary: a slow route to the main domain, a DNS problem on a home router, a filtered office or hotel network, or a domain Stake has rotated out.
That is where a mirror helps. A mirror is the same Stake platform on another address, with the same login, balance and bet history. The list on this page is timed from your own browser, so the fastest address on your connection rises to the top. Our guide on how to find a working Stake mirror explains how to check that a domain is genuine, and Is Stake down? shows whether the platform itself has a problem.
A mirror does not change who you are under Georgian law: it is not a way round the age-25 rule or an exclusion. Do not use a VPN to disguise your location either; Stake's terms treat that as a breach and accounts can be closed and funds withheld.
How to open Stake in Georgia with a mirror
- Open this page and wait a few seconds while every mirror is tested from your connection in Georgia.
- Pick the mirror marked with an asterisk: it answered fastest on the last check.
- Check that the address bar shows exactly the host from the list and a valid HTTPS padlock.
- Log in with your usual Stake account. Balance, history and VIP progress are the same on every mirror.
- If it stops loading later, come back here instead of searching: the list is re-tested on every visit.
Payments in Georgia
Because Georgian bank cards are barred from paying foreign gambling services, card deposits from TBC Bank or Bank of Georgia accounts will normally be declined, and Stake players in Georgia use crypto. Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum, Litecoin and USDC can be deposited and withdrawn directly. Georgia has a sizeable crypto scene and the National Bank of Georgia now registers virtual asset service providers, so prefer an exchange that appears on its register. Our guides to depositing USDT and depositing Bitcoin explain which network keeps fees low.
Stablecoins suit players who want to avoid lari swings between deposit and withdrawal. Withdrawals reverse the route: send coins back to your exchange and sell for lari. Set Stake's display currency to GEL if it is offered, or to USD or EUR, so stakes are easy to judge.
Licensed Georgian operators deal with tax on their side; how winnings from an offshore site or gains on crypto are treated for an individual is less clear. This is not tax advice; check with the Revenue Service or an accountant.
Popular sports and games in Georgia
Football leads, and interest has grown since Georgia reached Euro 2024: fans follow Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and the other internationals abroad, the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and the Champions League, and the domestic Erovnuli Liga with Dinamo Tbilisi, Dinamo Batumi and Torpedo Kutaisi. Rugby union is the other national sport, with the Lelos in the Rugby Europe Championship and at World Cups. Wrestling, judo, weightlifting and basketball draw strong interest too.
On the casino side, slots, live roulette and quick Originals such as Crash, Mines and Plinko are popular. Georgia is on Georgia Standard Time (UTC+4) all year, so evening Champions League games kick off at 23:00 local time in winter. Stake shows decimal odds, which Georgian bettors already use.
Tips for players in Georgia

FAQ
Is Stake legal in Georgia?
Stake's terms do not exclude Georgia, and the rules we reviewed target operators, advertising and payments rather than players. Stake has no Georgian permit, and Georgian citizens must be 25 to gamble. This is not legal advice.
What is the gambling age in Georgia?
25 for Georgian citizens on every gambling product since the 2022 reforms. Foreign nationals can play from 18. Stake's own minimum is 18, but Georgians must also meet the national age.
Can I deposit at Stake with a Georgian bank card?
Usually not. Georgian law bars Georgian-issued cards from paying gambling services registered abroad, so most players deposit crypto bought on a registered exchange.
What is Georgia's new international gambling licence?
Adopted in June 2026, it lets Georgian companies run online casinos and betting sites for foreign citizens only, with Georgian citizens blocked. It does not apply to Stake.com and does not change the rules for Georgian players.
Why is Stake not loading in Georgia?
We found no general ISP blocking of gambling sites in Georgia, so slow routing, DNS problems or a filtered network are the usual causes. Try the fastest mirror on this page; your account is the same on every mirror.
